Most sample requests ship within 3-5 business days. Every production sealing failure that occurs after installation represents a cost multiplier: downtime, disassembly labor, replacement parts, potential fluid contamination, and in regulated industries, possible reporting obligations. Material Sample Set
Receive a small assortment of NBR, FKM, EPDM and Silicone O-rings for visual inspection and basic compatibility screening. Each set includes 2-3 pieces of each material in a common size such as AS568-214, packaged with a material identification card showing hardness, color, and temperature range.

Custom Size Prototype
Submit your drawing or target dimensions and we will produce 5-10 pieces for groove-fit validation. Custom prototypes are manufactured using the same process and material as production, ensuring that test results are representative. Each shipment includes a dimensional inspection report.

We select the exact compound, hardness, and color used in your target application and ship test pieces with a datasheet. This option is recommended for final design validation before production release, especially in regulated industries where material traceability is required.

Are samples really free?
Standard material sample sets are free of charge for qualified engineering and procurement contacts. You only pay for shipping. Custom prototypes may incur a small tooling fee depending on complexity, which is credited against your first production order placed within 90 days.
How many pieces are included in a sample set?
A typical material set includes 2-3 pieces each of NBR, FKM, EPDM and Silicone in a common size such as AS568-214. Custom prototypes are usually 5-10 pieces. Application-matched samples are provided in the quantity agreed during the technical review.
Can I request a specific compound or color?
Yes. Include your requirements in the application field and we will match the compound, hardness, and color as closely as possible. For exact color matching, send a Pantone reference or physical color chip. For specialty compounds such as FFKM or conductive silicone, a small material surcharge may apply.
How long does shipping take?
Samples ship via DHL or FedEx Express. Transit time is typically 3-5 days to North America and Europe, and 1-3 days within Asia. Remote destinations may take 5-7 days. Tracking information is provided within 24 hours of shipment.
Can I order samples of multiple materials at once?
Yes. Our material sample set already includes four common elastomers. If you need additional materials such as HNBR, PTFE, or FFKM, specify this in your request and we will include them where available. Large multi-material evaluation programs can be arranged with our engineering team.
Do samples come with technical data sheets?
Yes. All sample shipments include a material data summary showing hardness, tensile strength, elongation, compression set, and temperature range. Application-matched samples also include a full material test certificate with batch number and manufacturing date.
What if the sample doesn't fit my groove?
Contact our engineering team with the measured groove dimensions and a photo of the installed sample. We will review the fit, identify whether the issue is size, hardness, or groove design, and recommend a revised specification. Replacement samples for fit correction are provided at no charge.
Can I use samples for customer demonstrations or trade shows?
Yes. Samples are provided for evaluation and demonstration purposes. If you need larger quantities for trade show giveaways or customer presentations, contact us for a quotation. We can provide branded packaging and custom labeling for promotional sample kits.
Is there a limit on how many times I can request samples?
We limit free material sample sets to one per company per quarter to ensure fair access. Additional requests within the same quarter are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. There is no limit on paid custom prototypes, which are quoted individually based on material and processing requirements.
Can I return samples if I don't use them?
Samples are not returnable due to hygiene and traceability requirements. However, if a sample does not meet the agreed specification or is damaged in transit, we will replace it at no charge upon receipt of supporting documentation and photos within 14 days of delivery.
